You will find a new tab opens with a list of book covers. Click each cover to see the book blurb. If you decide you want that book, go ahead and enter your name and email into the boxes. Your new ebook(s) will be delivered straight into your inbox.

Note that accepting a free giveaway will also sign you up for that author's newsletter, where you will receive updates on the author's writing and more goodies.

If you don't want to receive messages from the author, simply scroll to the bottom of any email from him or her and click the "unsubscribe" link. The author won't contact you again, but you still get to keep the free book as a thank you for participating in the giveaways.

However—why would you want to unsubscribe? If you like an author's book, surely you want more of his or her writing, right? Having your own personalized access to authors' latest news keeps you in the loop for their latest novel releases.

I compare this to trying free samples at a grocery store. It’s a fantastic way to discover new authors and for authors to find new readers. WIN-WIN, guys.

Keep in mind that these giveaways typically end at the last day of the month. Not every author participates in every giveaway, so I recommend checking out as many as you can, because a book you want might not be there next month.
